How to Find My Phone on Android

If you have an Android phone and would like to locate it, you can follow these steps. First, you need to enable Location reporting and history. Then, follow the instructions in the YouTube video to recover the phone. This step is not complicated, but requires that you have the location service enabled at all times. You will also need to enable the Google Assistant. Once you have completed all these steps, you will be able to find your phone.

Location service needs to be enabled all the time

When using Android, you can choose whether or not Location services are enabled on your device. Android allows apps to request access to your location one time, and once you’ve finished using it, you can disable it. iOS offers a similar option. Disabling Location Services on an iPhone is as simple as switching a toggle. To do this, open Settings, and select Location Services. Tap the toggle to turn off Location services.

    Location reporting

One way to control location reporting on Android phones is to disable it entirely. If you’d like to block the location-tracking of your phone from Google Maps, Facebook, and other apps, it’s easy to do. Most apps have an option to opt-out of location sharing, but you can also change this setting for individual apps. In the Location page, you can change your preferences for when these apps can access your location.

    Location history

If you are wondering how to find the location history of your Android device, you’ve come to the right place. Google Maps has a feature that lets you view the places you’ve visited and the date and time they were visited. You can also go into the app store and download it. Once you’ve installed it, you can use it to see where you’ve been. Then you can check if anyone has visited those locations.

    Google Assistant

If you have an Android phone, you can ask Google Assistant to find it. The app can be set to find up to two devices and can identify up to nine smartphones. You can type in your question or speak it out loud, but it is best to ask the assistant which device is currently connected to the WiFi network. The Google Assistant works on smartphones and tablets. It does not work on Chromebooks. But this update will change that.

    Lock screen

You can easily keep track of your phone through the lock screen. There are several ways to do so. You can also install a tracker app on the device so you can find it in case of theft or loss. You can customize the lock screen to display only the most relevant notifications. For example, you can choose to show only the app name and a message number. You can also hide silent notifications. If you’re worried about privacy, you can also turn off the display of sensitive notifications.

    Google Maps

In addition to its standard functionality, Google Maps for Android is packed with hidden features, so make sure to explore them. While Android 11 was already impressive, Android 12 has even more features, so make sure to keep it in mind. The following are a few advanced features to keep in mind:

    iSharing Location Tracker

The iSharing Location Tracker for Windows and Android lets you keep track of friends and family wherever they go, using a combination of Wi-Fi and GPS signals. You can set a range of one to 100 miles, and receive notifications when your friends or family are near you. Its free version lets you track one friend at a time, while its premium version lets you see a map of their current location and street views. iSharing is available for free download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once you’ve installed it, you simply need to add a friend or family member you’d like to track.

    Samsung’s tracking service

If you’ve lost or misplaced your Samsung mobile phone, you can track it with the free Find My Device app. The app tracks the device’s location and erases data from it remotely. It works even when the phone is offline or without Wi-Fi. To use the app, you must register an account with Samsung. You’ll need to enter the mobile number to start tracking. Samsung also provides a free tracking app that lets you trace a lost or stolen phone.
